West San Antonio Welcomes New Master-Planned Community

Arcadia Ridge, a new master-planned community in West San Antonio, has launched sales of its single-family homes. Arcadia Ridge was designed as a secluded family-friendly oasis developed by five builders on 700 acres of scenic landscape.
Centurion American, KFW Engineers & Surveying, TBG Partners and Bitterblue Inc. developed the project under the premise that “new home inventory overall is still relatively healthy, home prices are increasing and housing values are improving,” according to Jack Inselmann, director of Metrostudy-San Antonio. Available through Pulte Homes, Gehan Homes, Meritage Homes, Bella Vista Homes and Centex Homes, the one- and two-story properties range in size from 1,699 to 3,172 square feet and in price from $208,990 to $259,990. Seven floor plans are currently available.
The resort-style development is located in one of San Antonio’s fastest-growing areas, on Potranco Road, four miles west of Loop 1604, between Grosenbacher Road and State Highway 211. It offers 200 acres of open space surrounded by natural scenery along Briggs Creek and Potranca Creek. Retail and entertainment venues in the vicinity include Antlers Lodge, Starbucks, Ingram Park Mall, Alamo Ranch Shopping Center, Macy’s and Shops at La Cantera.
