The browser-agnostic pad allows brokers and leasing agents to interact much faster and easier with their prospects and tenants from their tablets or iPads, getting them out from behind their desk or laptop, and enabling them to move around as they conduct business and manage their deal pipelines, according to Kim Maddox, Commercial Product Specialist at Yardi.

“Being able to operate in such a mobile fashion increases productivity and promotes higher success and better communications with customers,” she told Commercial Property Executive, owned by Yardi.

Since the interface is specifically designed for the tablet, data entry is easy, simplifying leasing agents’ lives. Yardi also created a user configurable deal template to allow data to be entered in order and format that best suites interaction with the tenant.

“This application provides vital property and leasing information to the hands of the leasing agent,” Maddox added. “Legal compliance of options and encumbrances are maintained, because the real-time data is the single source of the truth, with no synchronization required.”
