  • Developers Break Ground on $189M Apollo Mixed-Use Project

    Insight Property Group and institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Asset Management announced on Wednesday, September 17, the start of construction for the Apollo, a mixed-use apartment project situated right in the heart of D.C.’s H Street NE corridor. At a cost of $189 million, the project is expected to be complete by early 2017.

  • Fenwick Apartments to Open in Silver Spring This Summer

    Insight Property Group L.L.C. broke ground in 2013, on February 5, on the Fenwick apartments in Silver Spring. Now, more than a year later, the project is nearing completion. Fenwick started pre-leasing apartments on May 10 and it will be ready for its first tenants to move in this July.

    Insight Property Group announced on Monday it recently started work on two major transit-oriented apartment projects in the Washington, DC area. The Arlington, Virginia-based multifamily developer also said it is nearing completion on a third project. The total cost of these three projects is $153 million.

  • Developers Break Ground on 310-Unit Apartment Project in Silver Spring

    Insight Property Group LLC of Arlington, VA, and Chevy Chase-based Nova-Habitat LLC held a ceremony on February 5 to celebrate the groundbreaking of Fenwick Station, a six-story, 310-unit apartment development in downtown Silver Spring. Neighborhood leaders and Montgomery County officials were also present at the event. The new development is located two blocks from the Silver Spring Metro Station, on the site of the former U.S. Post Office distribution facility at 8616 Second Avenue. Fenwick Station will deliver a mix of studios, one and two-bedroom apartments. Thirty-nine apartments will be affordable units.
