  • New Key’s Pointe Residences Open in Baltimore, Part of O’Donnell Heights Revitalization

    At the start of the month, the city of Baltimore celebrated the opening of the newly constructed Key's Pointe Residences, the first phase of the O'Donnell Heights Revitalization project. Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake was present at the ribbon-cutting ceremony together with Paul T. Graziano, Executive Director of the Housing Authority of Baltimore City, The Michaels Development Company, AHC-Greater Baltimore, Inc., and other elected officials and members of the community.

  • T. Rowe Price Renews Lease at 100 East Pratt Street, Keeps 1,300 Jobs in Downtown Baltimore

    Good news for downtown Baltimore. After several months of uncertainty, T. Rowe Price Group, Inc. announced it has renewed its lease at 100 East Pratt Street and that it won’t be moving its headquarters to a different location. This means the company’s nearly 1,300 employees will be staying put.

  • Amazon to Open Fulfillment Center in Baltimore Next Year, Create 1,000 Full-Time Jobs

    On October 22 Amazon.com, Inc. announced it plans to open a 1 million-square-foot fulfillment center in Baltimore. The facility will provide full-time jobs for more than 1,000 employees.

  • Ground Broken on $400 Million Horseshoe Casino Baltimore

    Ground was broken Wednesday, May 29, on Maryland’s newest casino, Horseshoe Baltimore. At the groundbreaking ceremony held by CBAC Gaming, LLC, the consortium developing the casino, Caesars Entertainment Chairman, President and CEO Gary Loveman joined Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings –Blake in throwing a pair of oversized, red dice on a ceremonial craps table, to mark the official start of construction on the $400 million facility.
