• Chesapeake Plywood Buys Warehouse in Baltimore’s Orangeville Industrial Area for $3M

    A warehouse in Baltimore City’s Orangeville Industrial Area has recently changed hands. Chesapeake Plywood paid $3 million to purchase the property at 3400 E. Biddle Street from Miller Investments. Alan Coppola of NAI KLNB represented the buyer, while Justin Mohler of CBRE represented the seller.

    The Baltimore industrial market is performing very well in the submarkets located to the north of I-95 (Baltimore City, Baltimore County East, and Harford/Cecil County), much better than in any other regions in the metropolitan area. According to reports from Cassidy Turley, compared to the same period last year, available industrial space in the Harford/Cecil County is taking an average of 11 months to lease. In the Baltimore/Washington Corridor submarket it takes 18 months.

  • Acer Exhibits and Events Buys 167,000 Sq. Ft. Warehouse in Havre de Grace

    Acer Exhibits and Events, LLC, a full service custom exhibits agency, has purchased the 167,270-square-foot facility at 1601 Clark Road, in nearby Havre de Grace, and plans to turn it into its new headquarters. The Belcamp-based company acquired the warehouse from Michigan-based Becker Properties for $3 million, or about $17.94 per square foot.
