  • Micro-Hotel Format to Make its Capital Debut in Chinatown

    A new type of hotel is coming to Washington, D.C. Monument Realty, Modus Hotels and Cafritz Co. have joined forces and now plan to start work on a micro-hotel in the District’s Chinatown neighborhood. The project is expected to cost $60 million.

  • YOTEL Plans to Open First Micro-Hotel Location in Boston

    It’s been almost three years since the Menino administration began encouraging developers to create housing units as small as 375 square feet in the growing Innovation District. Following the success of micro-housing, a UK-based hospitality chain called YOTEL wants to bring a similar concept to the same area of the South Boston Waterfront.
